hi, I’m Pilar

Many years ago, I decided to embark on an adventure by moving to a country far, far away from home. With just a friend waiting for me, I left behind my family and friends, filled with curiosity and excitement to experience life beyond what I already knew. I was born in a beautiful South American country called Uruguay—Google it! We’re small but with a huge heart. My city, Montevideo, is a gem with its unique charm and vibrant culture.

As an immigrant, the challenges of living in a foreign country were varied—from language barriers to different foods, social customs, clothing, and music. Although it was one of the biggest challenges of my life, it has become a part of who I am. My curiosity about new cultures and learning about the world has become second nature.

Most often than not, I travel alone , while I love traveling with company, there’s a special thrill in figuring things out on my own—where to stay, where to go, and simply improvising the next move without worrying about anyone else’s plans. My camera is my trusty companion, and with it, I never feel alone on these adventures.

I’d love to share with you my visits to new and exciting places and maybe inspire you to your next adventure. Even though I may not be moving to a new country with a different language and culture each time, I can dream for a little bit that I do.
